Did any of you ever stop to think that maybe the rest of the Asian community looks down upon the ones who eat dogs and cats?

Like all of them of the rest of them.  No, I don't assume that all Asians who don't eat a certain kind of food have a superiority complex.  Personally, I don't think I'll ever eat dog.  I don't even like the idea.  But I don't look down on people who do.  I'm not better than them.  Well, I might be better than some for reasons unrelated to their choices in food.  But there are probably many who are as good.  Some a little better.  Some a little worse.  Probably a lot of guys who are MUCH better in many respects.  You might not eat veal, and you might look down on those who do, but don't assume that everyone else who doesn't eat veal looks down on those who do.

Referring to "what the rest of the Asian community" thinks is about as bad as referring to "what the entire Asian community does."  Just because you include a fractions doesn't mean you aren't generalizing in an awful way.

Don't think I've heard of spumoni before.
My grandparents were from opposite ends of Italy so that stuff must be from the middle.  ;D
(BTW, very different food in that house depending on if grandpa or grandma were cooking)

I had spumoni for the first time as a kid at some kind of spaghetti restaurant. Liked it, but it was a weird niche thing for me.  Then I rediscovered it about 5 years ago.  It's my favorite kind of ice cream; Kroger does a fantastic one.

It's amazing with that hardening shell chocolate syrup over it. Loads and loads of that hard chocolate shell.

I would guess it's a special dough put through the same extruder as fusilli pasta.  I just don't see regular semolina pasta puffing up like that in a deep fryer.

Hmmm...  Another thread displaying how easy it is to offend someone who is looking for reasons to be offended.  The next thread will come with the next new release here, no doubt.
Yea I'm sure the Batman shorts will offend someone eventually as the riff series goes on :-X

Hey!  I thought this was a food thread now, stop bringing it back on topic.

If you want to bring it back on topic, use the title literally.
This thread should be filled with "Jokes about Asians eating animals".

Suggestive sushi jokes would be a good place to start.
