Okay, here's Smith in the movie, played by Lauren Levy:

And here's Lauren Levy Neustadter:

I'm leaning towards "the same person", but there's actually about 3 people in the entertainment industry with that name including the above (a VP at Fox), a program standards manager at NBC and a PR person/actress.

I'd say the same person, they both have pretty deep/similar nasolabial folds. But I'd need to hear the woman talk to see if she'd rupture my ear drums.

I think the little girl was a young Sindel from Mortal Kombat

The eyebrow-growth pattern is the same. The eyes are the same shape. The smile and head-tilt and slight arm-raise while smiling are the same. she's barely changed her haircut. Same person. Pretty fucking genius of her to distance herself from this piece of %^&*. Though for a child actress, she's not too terrible. I think she was trained for stage acting, and she's projecting. You don't need to so that in film, because your voice only needs to reach the extremely-sensitive microphone a few yards away, and not the back of a theater that may or may not have really fucking horrible acoustics.
