I'm guessing they're going to go all out on the 90's jokes/references. They've rarely had a chance to do that and it's been long enough now to really put the zing to that decade.

Don't know about this HD thing: doesn't it bring Vanilla Fleisch to me in greater clarity than ever?

I think just as cool as this release is the fact that Rifftrax finally has enough clout (and money) to license studio films for VODs.  That opens up a lot of new potential titles.

So, since my PC does not burn HD movies, I guess I will see the HD version if I take the HD.MP4 and somehow get it in itunes and I can watch it that way on my TV via apple TV?

See my post right above your original one, it should import directly into itunes and if you have a 2nd or 3rd generation AppleTV it should play it.  I don't think the 1st generation AppleTV can play 720p.

Nah, mine is a generation one Apple TV.   Oh well.

Will this play on a PS3?

Yes. Download the High-Quality MPEG of the movie and burn the file onto a disc inside -and this is the important part- a folder called "DVD."  And it'll play on a PS3, unless you have DVD-making software that the PS3 will recognize without such manipulations.

Or you can download the iso file and burn the pre-made DVD image. It played in my PS3 without incident.

ISO wouldn't work unless you burned that to a DVD.

I'd imagine the mp4 file works. Most movies I rip to watch on my PS3 are in that format.

Yeah, I've downloaded the ISO in the past, burned it to disc and ended up wasting a perfectly good disc.  Also have done the same in burning the MP4 to a disc using Windows DVD Maker which for some reason is now claiming that a disc hasn't enough space when it actually does.   So, MP4 in a "DVD" folder for me works flawlessly.
