Plan 9 live (best of) - the portrait above the bed...

I know a lot of people saw it, there was a scene in the film that looked like it was modified.  On the wall above the pilot's bed was a portrait with a man and woman that looked out of place.  It was too quick to make out, but I can tell you the guy was blonde, and that everyone around me noticed "something on the wall" too.  A few seconds later after the camera cuts away and back again, the picture is gone.

Anybody recognize it?

Back when Legend put out the original Plan 9 DVD colorized they had some kind of contest or raffle to have your picture digitally inserted into the film.  That is what that was.

I've seen the live dvd and the vod many times at home and never noticed it before.  Remind me to buy a forty foot TV.

I believe the head alien guy "hulking out" was a colorization effect added at fan request when the movie was colorized by Legend for DVD. I notice the picture too and it did seem out of place, the couple in it looking too modern in their dress and the picture itself did look like a digital addition rather than part of the actual movie.  Interesting additions they made for the movie.

I looked for it and found that apparently Legend had a couple auctions running and that is what you got if you were the high bidder.
