Rifftrax VHS or VCR Release

[2526b]

Just wanted to suggest an exclusive or members release of a Rifftrax riff on VHS. As a collector, I would certainly pick up a few.

Thanks for all of your work!

That was pretty funny Just-The-Trax.

Considering the last VHS movie shipped in 2006, and I think the last blank tape shipped in 2008, it would be kind of expensive for rifftrax to resurrect all the equipment needed to produce a run of VHS tapes.

Actually, there have been limited runs for some films on VHS in recent years; House of the Devil for example a few years back, as well as the recent release of Miami Connection, which was a couple of months back.

And some videophiles have been releasing new films on VHS as well, just because it's cool to do so. That being said, I don't this as being incredibly likely.

(And Marty? They still make blank VHS tapes and players. They're not as common anymore, but you can still pick up blank tapes at out of the way places like Best Buy or Staples.)

I know they still make players, but I think all the blank tapes you see are old stock, can't find any evidence of any companies still making new blank tapes.  Everywhere I look it says the last new tape was made in 2008.
