Will be at the Carousel Mall Syracuse with my two teenage Rifftrax / MST3K fanatic sons. Really looking forward to it!

I'll be attending the Fort Collins experience with my personal physicist! I'm super excited!
WARNING: In case of Rapture, this dance belt will be unoccupied.

Got my mother-in-law coming to watch over the squirt for the afternoon/evening and I have the day off. Today's gonna be a good day. :^)

Man, so sad I have to miss. First Rifftrax I've missed too.

Awesome night and show, guys.  Though I don't know if it was my theater or the way it was broadcast but the riff-volume seemed to be a lot lower than the features' volume (both the short and the movie.)  Either there was duck-out, the volume balance of the two was off or it could've been an issue at my theater.

Anyway, great fun and a great show, guys.

I want a report. Want to know what shorts they did in particular. Was there a Halloween surprise?

Starman!

Yeah, how was it? I didn't get to go either. The show sold out near me, money has been tight, and I was busy tonight anyways.

Went to the show, a lot of fun other than some audio issues. No "Halloween" surprise. Only short they did was another "Norman" one*. (I guess since this movie was so "long" there wasn't time to do two shorts like normal plus something else to pad the time.  "Trivia" cards before the show were good laughs as well.  The one before the show began said, "After the show there will be 20 minutes of credits followed by Mike, Kevin and Bill quietly eating Shawarma."

* In case you missed the "Manos" live show, "Norman" is the titular character in a series of short films that ran on Showtime back in the 80s.  Norman is some-sort-of traveling businessman who never speaks beyond an "Ughhhhh" and usually ends up in a series of mis-adventures trying to do something basic.  In Manos it was recovering his car in an airport parking lot where the doors were blocked off by adjacent cars.   In the "Birdemic" short Norman is at a hotel where he's been downgraded from a nice suite to apparently a small room in the wing of the hotel adjacent to the city's red light district.  He struggles with plumbing issues in the hotel room, loud hotel neighbors, and a bed vibrator.  There's also a love scene with a curtain rod and way too much soapy pasty, old white man chest.

He's sort of like a VERY Americanized version of Mr. Bean.

It was glorious!

WE GOT ANOTHER NORMAN SHORT!

Oh god, so so funny. I will be humping chairs for the next few weeks while my boyfriend walks awkwardly.
No Matter Where you go, there you are.

Apparently some actors from the movie were in the crowd at the Belcourt.  The guys gave them a shout out before the movie started and apologized for what was to come.
