Why Was HBO's 1992 Movie "Stalin" Never Put on DVD?

[Bob]

Some of us today were talking about the 1992 HBO movie Stalin that started Robert Duvall as Stalin (believe it or not).  We talked about how great that was, and when we went to Netflix, saw it was not there.

Turns out it was NEVER made into a DVD and we could not find why that was.  Anyone know?

I mean, Duvall was SO awesome, he is scary on screen.

Communist conspiracy.

[Johnny Unusual]

Yeah, HBO quit Stalin and get this on DVD, now!

[Bob]

I know.....VHS copies do not cover it.
