I read a few articles stating that the new Manos restoration print would be used for last night's show. That print we saw was pretty beat up. Did the deal fall through?

From the very first time Mike started talking about the Live Riff he said they had their own print. I think Mike tweeted about it the day that it was announced.

Does anyone know if the coupon code is one-use-per-account, or if it can be used multiple times before it expires?  (I seem to recall having gotten burned in the past by being unable to use a code a second time, so I'm trying to figure out if I can order now or if I should just wait until the end of the month just to be safe...)

That's a damn good question, I was thinking about buying one VOD movie or a few shorts this weekend and then waiting till next to see if I can get more.  If it's one use though, I'll wait and get everything at once.

I just want to add my thoughts on the Manos 2 stuff at the end of the Rifftrax Live show.

Totally unfunny (was it supposed to be funny) and really put a downer on the end of the evening.  I highly doubt anybody in the audience even cares about this sequel.  The only way I will ever see it is if Rifftrax does it.

I just have a hard time caring about it.  It is kinda cool that they got the original Master to reprise his role, but why stop there?  Scour the country and find as many MST3K related actors as they could and fill this thing up with them.  Reb Brown, Ben Murphy, Joe Estevez, Zap Rowsdower!. 

Make it the MST3K version of the Expendables.

The thing about Manos is that it actually does have a good premise, that could make for a genuinely creepy horror movie if someone made it right.

Which, of course, the movie didn't do. Nor will its unfortunately too self-aware upcoming sequel.
