"Early" for the pre-show?

I bought a ticket for the Manos "Live" Rifftrax, even though PST times are tape-delayed.  I had a couple questions for people who have gone to one before.
It's supposed to start at 8, but I just got an email telling me to show up early for a "pre-show."  How early?  Is the pre-show actually starting at 8, and then the movie starts at 830 or something?  Are those of us stuck with tape-delay going to lose out on the pre-show?  How early should I show up?

Typically there is a Rifftrax themed slideshow ahead of the actual live show.  Think of the sort of slideshow you normally see at the movies before the trailers start.  What with movie trivia and stuff, only with a Rifftrax twist.

It starts a half hour before the show, but if you miss some of it, it usually loops and plays several times through before the main event starts.

K1 and I usually get so early to the shows that we get to see the Gloria Estefan concert they use to test the satellite feed!!  We have seen that concert before every single RiffTrax Live!!

That's true! It got funnier the longer it played! Then annoying.  Then funny again!

Well, going to see it tonight, sounds like I'll be there a half an hour early like normal.  Good to know that at least the commercials will be different

Yeah, half an hour was good for getting a seat, but too early for the commercials, saw them all twice.

Best line of the night was actually from a short, not Manos..."Bite my shiny cardboard a$$!"  Hope they put Norman and Cylinders as downloadable shorts
