Stupid people are usually relatively harmless unless impassioned by a cause, then they're the most dangerous living things on earth.

Do you remember the Irish nationalist movement that spawned as a direct result of Braveheart? The effect that a melodramatic movie can have on stupid people is horrifying.

And when Irish people get riled up from watching a movie about Scotsmen, you know they gotta be stupid.   :P

Those Scotsmen are wily ones, convincing people to join their nationalist movements.  :P

As a show of solidarity, I'm drinking heavily and hoarding my money even as we speak.

My Grandmother is Scottish.  They also have the constitutions of iron.  Tripe, Black Pudding, White Pudding, Trotters, Brains, Stomachs: Basically your average Scottish meal.  Thank the Lord she moved south.   ;D

FREEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOM!

Someone has to yell at least once that every time Braveheart is mentioned. It's like the chorus of "I'm Spartacus!" whenever someone mentions the 1960 movie.

Ok, so if we summarize this thread, we go from talking about paganism in a bad movie, debating about paganism, general religious debate, monsters, Irish, stupid people, Scottish cuisine, and now to over-used quotes from historical films.  Am I missing anything?

You know what I hate most about when the weather gets warm?  Having to see old, wrinkly boobs at work.  Particularly man-boobs  :gouge:.  I hate retail.

Marshmallow Peeps.

Although, I guess if you deep-fried them, that would fall under the already-discussed category of Scottish cuisine...  :)

How about wrinkly, pale old men's legs sticking out of shorts?

Thankfully I am behind a counter so I don't have to see the lower extremities.  I must quote Jeff Foxworthy here, "If you are someone's grandmother, you ain't anybodies cutie pie!"

We also talked about sucky SCI-FI channel, Battlestar Galactica and Stargate.  Now, I think we covered it.

It was a very well rounded thread.

He mentioned something about women who wear shirts 3 sizes too small that have those glittery words like "Sweetie" on the boobs. They look like the Michelin Man with a layer of pink saran wrap.

Yep.  Sometimes a really hot girl comes by and I have to basically clench every muscle in my head to keep my eyes from drifting into those valleys of... ahem... hrrm... yes, well it is quite distracting.
