Really, now, that was just a joke.  An inside joke, as many Wiccans would attest, it seems sometimes that every male witch you meet is gay or bi.  That's all I'm saying... I'm sure there are many straight male witches... Not at all, I DO think the stories and a lot of the ideas or dogmas are unlikely, offensive or stupid.  That's why I don't really understand the christians here making fun of Scientology because their stance boils down to "a big bearded guy who lives in the clouds is believable enough to live my life by but aliens and giving money? that's just CRAZY"

From what I understand 90% of religions boil down to 'be nice to people' which is a good message but a lot of the followers are either to stupid, weak or scared to actually see that part of it.

No, what I believe as a rational Christian is that God first created the Heavens, but Lucifer rebelled and he was cast out.  Next God formed the universe using the natural laws (He could very well started the Big Bang) of the universe for His pleasure and ours as Father and children.  On a planet that would become Earth, he formed man (possibly through evolution), but man fell and out of Humanity he chose Adam and Eve to be bearers to his Israelite people.  For thousands of years he protected and at the same time punished the Israelites for their self-destructive foolishness so that he could bring into effect all of man's salvation with Christ.  At the appointed time, He came down to Earth through Mary and Christ then sacrificed his own life to save mankind.  For 300 years, the Christians were persecuted by the Romans until the reign of Constantine who legalized it and brought about the figurative 1,000 years of peace prophesied by John the Revelator.  We are nearing the end of that period where Satan is rising and another persecution far greater than that known even during Nero and Diocletian's time.  Man will diefy himself and try to perfect himself, but in the end destroy himself.  The End of Time will be when all man understand that they could not be greater than God.  Those who accepted God completely will celebrate and those who rebelled will go to where they chosed.  God will grant you all the isolation and void you wish.

I'm an unorthodoxical Christian.  Now shove that ink brush somewhere else.  I've thought long and hard for even this, and its still just a simplification.

There are two parts to witnessing as a Christian, the "Witness of Actions" and the "Witness of Speech".  How can I witness to you when one is impossible and the other is inhibited?

I am not a bible thumper.  I am an amateur theologian, philosopher, and apologetic.  I use the Bible as a starter, but I try to end discussions using other sources.
