I think Krankor could totally take the Psychlos

I think Krankor could totally beat the living bejezus out of the psychlos. For one thing he has an x-radar screen and costic vapors and laser cannons and 100 foot tall matronly, big-eared giants. Plus he has a much more dignified looking spaceship then any of the Psychlos have. .

The chicken men of Krankor definetly seemed more compitent than the average Psychlo. This could actually be a matter of debate: whether the chicken men or the Psychlos are less pathetic. I think they both have their strengths and weaknesses, at least when compared to each other...

Ahem... getting back to the point at hand... Krankor's planet doesn't seem to be vulnerable to the "Let's beam a nuclear bomb onto their planet and thank god we are lucky enough that their atmosphere can react to nuclear explosions well enough to destroy their entire planet.".

Very true. And I doubt that even the Chicken Men could go for 1000 years without progressing enough to find a practical way to mine gold.

I wonder if the Psychlos' weapons would have no effect on Prince of Space. It seems the effect varied depending on whether the target was human or inanimate. While they only seemed to stun the humans, the same rays (or not-so-special effects) blew away signs and other various objects. Makes you pine for deadly volleys of negative scratches.

Not that the movie deserves defense, but I think the Psychlo guns had two barrels that shot lethal rounds out of one and some kind of stun effect (a gentle, soothing ripple) out of the other. The force of the impact did seem to change randomly though, launching that one guy across the room and only making Johnny stumble through an implausible series of plate glass..

Of course is Prince of Space is immune to massive lasers and hidden toaster ovens, I'm sure he's immune to mincing ol' Kerl's pistol. Prince of Space could unquestionably beat Kerl's ass.
