I learn that robots are made very impratically concerning the small details. Some have a ridiculous roar, others are only understood when speaking every third word.

Jahwudulabudulaudha John Conner.

For anybody who has the second disc with bonus features, be sure to watch the "Sgt. Candy" deleted scene.

Here it is:

Finally, the mystery of the Austrian accent is solved! Thanks, youtube!

In response to that I say, "Riiiight."  As a man of southern US persuasion, I am deeply shamed by that. Hearing what sounded like the voice of a southern gay black man coming out of Arnold's mouth will now forever haunt my nightmares.

OMG, that was HORRIBLE, STUPID and ........... I need a beer now.

Man, that was just lame....... did a two year think of that?   I think we know now WHY it was a "deleted" scene.

Quicksilver

that reminded me of jurassic park's explanatory video......wow, thank god that was deleted. should have just finished it off and gave him jar jar's accent.
The Ood: The Beast and his armies will rise from the pit to make war against God.
Rose: I'm sorry?
The Ood: Apologies. I said: I hope you enjoy your meal.

BathTub

Besides we saw Non-Arnie Terminators before.

I learned that Sarah Connor (John's mother for those who don't know) can apperantly go from being 18 in the first movie in 1984 to 25 judging by her tombstone. So this means that she couldn't have been 29 (as is stated very plainly at the mental hospital) in T2 because John is supposed to be about 12 or 13.  And THIS means that the year in T-2 would have to be 1996 or ,97, but then Sarah would have had to have died either the following year or the very year T-2 is supposed to take place (as it says on her tombstone) and she looks pretty darn healthy for someone with leukemia advanced enough that she's got only 6 months to live by the time she's diagnosed. This would also mean that by the year ,97, for John to be 12 or 13, Sarah has to be well into her thirties by T-2.  And they said she was 29.

In other words, Sarah Connor can travel through time.

What amazing attention to detail.  That's already way more research than I would ever conduct on the terminator franchise than I plan to do in my lifetime.

Well... when you dig through a pile of manure, you're probably not going to find gold doubloons five feet down.

And to add to the confusion, the upcoming TV series is going to be called the Sarah Connor Chronicles, wherein the series takes place after the events in T-2. The continuity is going bonkers.

It will die a quick death like Blade: The Series. Just grit your teeth and think of something pleasant until it's over.

Was the Blade series that bad? I absolutely hated the movies but the Wesley Snipes-less-ness gave me some hope for the show.

Well... think CSI with vampires. Any shred of plot coherence left along with Snipes... I'm not a vampire fan anyway, but it seemed to combine that kind of flashy, shallow, uninspired CSI feeling with the justifiably amateur nature of SpikeTV. And vampires.

My real problem with movie-based TV series is that, generally, they brutally massacre any credibility remaining in the original movie series before they're cancelled.

Sharktopus

I love vampire movies and shows far more than they deserve, but any mention of the abomination that is CSI and I'm gone.

RobtheBarbarian

I was hoping it would have that effect on you... I've ran into more than a few people who listen to me make that comparison and say "But CSI is good..."

CSI is a well-crafted show, if you can get past the fact that it's about as realistic as Inspector Gadget. Crime scene techs with badges and guns, interrogating witnesses and arresting suspects? WTF?
