What did we learn?

I learned that in the 30s it was okay to make a kids cartoon about a father feeding his son to a bear.  It blows my mind that people who grew up watching this stuff complained about the cartoons I grew up watching in the 90s.  Say what you will about 90s cartoons but none of them featured children being eaten.
