Ooh, yeah, I didn't care for the sample either.  But, I've found with these and mst3k that it's hard to take out a small chunk and have it be representative of the whole.  Even with MST3K sometimes it took time for the jokes to build and work with one another to produce that side-splitting hilarity.  Whenever I try to show MST3K to friends, I always have to urge them to hang in there through the first few segments in order to "get it."

Anyways, that being said, I certainly plan to buy this one the moment it becomes available.

Can't wait to see what the next one is.  Maybe I'll wake up early to take part in 20 questions.  The last one was quite an interesting read.

They're usually all pretty interesting to read....as we moronically quest to find out the next riff

But yeah, you're right...sometimes there's a lot of running gags that take time to digest; moreover, I've found most MST episodes and riffs to be funnier the second time around

And Nick Stahl as John Connor. Why? Even though Edward Furlong was a little annoying, atleast he was somewhat likeable.

Apparently, Furlong had drug problems that affected his reliability.

Hey J-Proof,

Was it intentional that you covered up his ankle's with bomb because when Arnold used to do photo shoots, they would have him stand in water to cover up the fact that he had skinny ankles?

I'm guessing no...but you never know...

Yes, he was far from the ideal employee for a film shoot. He's really let himself go.

"My sarcasm appreciation circuits were also fried." Very funny clip. I'm looking forward to hearing the whole thing tomorrow.  :)
Aaahh! This movie just throws you violently into the next scene!

After rereading the info page again, I feel it necessary to stand up for Manhattan cockroaches, which do indeed (at least occasionally) appear in little glowing balls of energy (especially if you rub them on your sweater during the winter).  This may or may not have a connection to the fact that most NYC cockroaches are constituted of living tissue over metal endoskeleton; if they are Terminators, however, they must be a more advanced model since they cannot be crushed with a metal press.

Looks like preventing the apocalypse was not the best thing for him.

hehe - I actually did it that way cuz the beefy-ness of the muscles made it necessary for me to scale down the full model. After being scaled down, I had to find a way to take up more space and all that so that the muscle-mike didn't look all dwarfish. Voila! Atom bomb =)

That's just funny....

Once you prevent the apocalypse you've peaked. It's all downhill from there. You have to live the rest of your life in the shadow of your former self and you just stop caring.

That photo of Furlong is like something out of Highlights magazine, where you're supposed to circle everything that's wrong with the picture.
So far i've circled his huge gut... smoking near a baby... and a DIET energy drink. Although, i'm sure there's more!

According to IMDB.com he seems to be working pretty steadily, so maybe he was just "letting it all hang out" between movies?

I'm so looking forward to this, but something's bugging me.  Mike, Kev, Bill, and Rich, why not riff on Leprechaun for St. Patty's Day?  You still have, um, a day to bang that one out.  We know you can do it.  ;)
Failure is not an option.  It comes factory standard.
