Wow, that was a fun football day on Sunday.   Took my sister to the game and we had the pre-game on field access.   So we would wander around the perimeter of the field, take pictures, etc.   I'll post a link to some of those later after I load them.   The players are HUGE.   Not really so hugely muscular as they appear on TV, but they are all TALL.   I'm 6'0" and felt like a shrimp.

The Saints owner Tom Benson almost walked into me as I was standing taking pictures and we said, "excuse me" to each other.   He seemed like a happy little guy and smelled like money.   Both teams had some play photo binders laying on tables and everyone was taking pictures of them making Bill Billicheck jokes.   We thought about peaking in the official review booth, but the two police standing in there did not seem to want us to!

And the game, well, I guess the Saints must have had a HUGE letdown because the score was not as close as 31-21.....it was a total domination by the Rams, lead by their BACKUP QB.   There were a ton of Saints fans and they just kept sitting there shaking their heads.   Everyone kind of likes the Saints so no one was really giving them a hard time.  

After the game, we walked over to the Cardinals WS parade and got some more good photos.    The Cardinals were on the field before the Rams game and maybe they rubbed off.

Been out digging a trench all day so I've missed almost everything today

Rams took all that momentum from beating the Saints and lost in OT to the Cardinals in the most hilarious way.

Found out that the Rams have had 4 winning seasons in 17 years in STL.......... so I have seen a LOT of bad football and a tiny window of greatness with Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk.   Wow, they are just terrible.

The Rams send their season ticket holders a very long survey in the mail today.    I am sure they are going to get a lot of ticked off season ticket holder responses.   In the comments section I wrote there was a 5% chance of me renewing my season tickets.......curious if they are going to respond to me about that or not.

Good lord, the local sports show hosts just can not stop griping about Tebow. Seriously. They griped last week after we won, and we win again this week and... "Well, we only had two passes."

I honestly don't know WTF is wrong with my Ravens. We just can't beat bad teams. How do you sweep Pittsburgh and beat the Texans and Jets, but lose to the Titans, Jags and Seahawks?!?!?  Embarrassing. At least we're still in first place in the division. And, hey, if we make the playoffs we should easily win the Superbowl since we'll be playing all good teams.

I can't believe the Jets lost to Tebow.  I'm stunned really.   I thought Ryan's defense would easily obliterate Tebow.  I'm happy to be wrong though, as I can't stand Rex Ryan and I'm glad he just got embarrassed on national TV.  Seeing him shaking his head on the sidelines when Tebow ran it in for the game winner was a beautiful sight
