Oh crap, I got a TX following me. Anyone got a hydraulic press? OK, we're fine then. ;)

I had to kill one yesterday in a panini press... didn't work as well, but it had grill marks on it afterwards...
Oh Good, Shim was Joe Elic.

The recent Fantastic Four: Death In The Family one shot comic gives one of the best portrayals of time travel I've even seen. When Sue is killed in an accident Johnny was somewhat responsible for, he immediately hops on the time platform they confiscated from Dr. Doom way back when, and arrives in the past just in time to stop the accident from killing her. After he explains what the hell's going on to the a-few-minutes-ago FF, Reed says, "But Johnny, you've seen enough to know that you can't alter the past. You've only created an alternate timeline where this Sue doesn't die. When you go back to your future, your sister will still be dead." And Johnny says, with tears in his eyes, "Don't you think I know that? I did this for you," as he's transported back to his own timeline.

Hmm...I'm not sure that works...though we could debate forever as to whether or not time travel would actually create divergent and mutually exclusive timeframes.... obviously, that's not worth the time....but it is interesting...

Haha...well, when you think about it, it makes as much sense as arguing over the political future of Naboo, or the effective radius of a unicorn's horn...it's fictional semantics...nobody can be right or wrong here
