Wow. I could stand listening to that dude for about three minutes, and I can listen to Plinkett for ninety minutes. What an immensely annoying persona. I gather he didn't care for the movie. Oh well, opinions are like this guy; everybody's got 'em.
Well whether you like him or not Barnes he makes some excellent points. ;D

Well, like I said, I could only manage to watch for about three minutes, so I wouldn't really know. And there's no way in hell I'm gonna watch this clown prattle on for twenty minutes. This guy could spew his grossly inflated sarcasm for three hours and it wouldn't change the fact I enjoyed the movie. What I did take away from the three minutes I did allow him to grate on my nerves, was that he's just trying so fucking hard to be that cool "video review" guy, but he lacks any sense of subtlety, and just comes off as loud, whiny, unfunny, and annoying. At least some of TGWTG's loud, screeching rants are actually humorous. This guy's lame attempt at imitating him is just sad. I surprised he's even on the site.

I don't think he was ever trying to imitate the Nostalgia Critic's style. Phelous is just plain crazy, Nostalgia Critic is reflective of the actual trait of sanity. Phelous is really into the meta-joke type stuff, which while I'm not a fan of is at least kept to a minimum.

I don't give a shit what he's trying to do or what he's "into." The dude's an unfunny, annoying assclown.

For day 31, I went with my personal favorite of the Halloween movies,  Halloween III:  Season Of The Witch.

Haters be damned.  Tom Atkins rules!

Johnny Unusual

On Halloween I watched Behind the Mask: the Rise of Leslie Vernon.  Pretty cool take on the slasher film, although it weakens somewhat towards the end and feels a little more generic, though considering how meta the movie is, that might be a conscious choice.

Halloween 3 makes a very good case for a good movie, the odd man out in this series. 80's Dan(Cinema Snob) and his gang of movie-reviewing guys... (for lack of better term for them all) review the movie here with a special appearance from the Chicago Ghostbusters!
