I tried for ... er, thirty seconds or so.  I really did!  Long time fan here.  Sooooo glad to see you all are here!  I feel much more "normal" now.

Just a quick question...say I start with "Lord of the Rings"  (( the "he's a boy but he looks like me" made me whip out the credit card )).  Okay if I have the extended version, should there's no chance of syncing, am I right?  Frankly it will be worth it to get the normal version just to hear Mike slaughter the movie that created emos out of all my WoW friends.

Thanks in advance for replying!  I promise to be much cooler in the future.  *nod*nod*

You need the original THEATRICAL version, not the extended edition. It will not sync up, and you will have a heck of a time pausing and un-pausing to keep up. It's too annoying. Trust me, I know!

Greetings and Salutations New-Member Type Personage, feel free to walk quietly among other members of these forums, but know their power for they are your rivals. Quietly crush them as you work diligently through the night.  Pay attention to the Platypus behind the curtain, for he is your ally.  Drink deeply and lustfully from the foamy draught of Evil that is Tarantulas... Here take these items and use them to aid you in your toils... *Gives ForgottenGargoyle a Smoking Jacket (with several packets of designer smoke), a Mexican Bean-Bag Chair , and a tin of freshly made Artificial Demon Dog Cookies, made with Genuine Artificial Demon Dogs* ...and Uh, do it to the other guy before he does it to you, and be bad to the bone.  Won't you?  Thank you...

Dearest Thom and Kodiak,

So gracious a greeting I did not expect!  I solemnly swear to all of you, my now rivals, that I shall quietly but diligently crush you as I work through the night, smoking and moving around in this bean bag chair to hear the tiny Mexicans inside curse me but occasionally send me tacos and a pitcher of Sangria to wash these rather dry but still delicious Demon Dog cookies...truly, I feel bad to the bone, my rivals, I really do.

Thanks for the tip, Kodiak!  Now off to the shopping cart.  Might I ask one more question?  Where in hell am I going to find a copy of "Nestor, the Long Eared Donkey?"

I am deeply disheartened, Forgotten Gargoyle, for by the time I finish this post, I will have forgotten you. What a cruel fate you face. I shall now continue with my speech. If you want Nestor, you have to buy the "Year Without a Santa Claus" DVD. It includes Nestor as well as rudolf's shiny new year (a turd worth riffing). Wait... who the hell are you?

It comes as a special feature with the DVD A Year Without A Santa Claus, but it won't be in any retail store now that it's no longer the holiday season. You might find a copy at Best Buy, but it's unlikely. Just buy it online at Amazon or a similar retail outlet.

Thanks, and I f I may add something for the sake of clarity?  It's a Beanbag Chair full of Mexican Jumping Beans, hence the name 'Mexican Jumping Bean-Bag Chair'.  No actual Mexicans were harmed in the making of these chairs, mainly because none were ever stuffed into them in the first place.....
