Yawn!  :-\

Wassamatter? You mad? Is it that they aren't doing more MST3K-style movies like Laser Mission, Abraxas, and Galaxy Invader? Is it that they aren't doing one of the latest blockbusters like Thor? Or is it you don't want them to finish the Potter series?
Can't speak for POS, but I find the Harry Potter movies worse and more difficult to sit through than a thousand Laser Missions, Abraxases, and Galaxy Invaders- even when riffed.

I just can't sit through another HP or Twilight movie.  I tried my best to let the Rifftrax gang make them watchable, but after the last two HP/Twilights, I thought, "I went through the lengthy reauthoring process for this??? :grr:"

Sorry.  We all have our likes and dislikes with Rifftrax.  I just choose to pass on these franchises.  Oddly enough, I can't wait for the next installment of Transformers.  Go figure.

The Potter ones are the best.  So much organized gibberish to work with.

I don't have much interest, either. I'm kind of tired of riffing on franchises in general.

Personally, most of my favorite riffing so far this year has been from 80's titles; I loved Highlander & Karate Kid III. I enjoy this eclectic middle ground between megabudget blockbusters & public domain titles. I also thoroughly enjoyed Inception. I liked X-Men 3 too, I'm always amused by Mike's Patrick Stewart & British thespian impersonations.

I wouldn't mind a riff of X-Men: First Class, but for the most part I'm worn out on recent franchise titles. I can only take so much flashy CGI & wand-pointing & robot demolition (robot wands?).

If anyone wants to encourage me, though: I thoroughly enjoyed the riffs of HP 3&4. I found Part 5 a drab, lifeless void that seemed to suck the vitality of the Rifftrax down with it. I'm aware that the guy who directed part 5 went on to direct the rest in the series; I'm also vaguely aware than many HP fans consider Part 6 to be the worst in the series. I'd like to be enthused. Feel free to offer reasons why this has the potential to be much funnier than Part 5.

Didn't realize there was so much hate for HP computers.. I.. I mean movies! :o

I'm thrilled, its about the only way I can digest the HP (or Transformers) series. More Filch, more mudbloods, and mugging, slap-able Ron.

Hewlett Packard Rifftrax are an acquired taste.

I can't stand to sit through the '80s films, or the recent MST-like ones (from the '50s-'70s), some of them not even able to finish once, because I can't tolerate repeating the films.   [I seem to recall a statement that "this is not MST3K 2.0" in the FAQ... so why the '50s-'70s films which bring out that kind of commentary?]

I like the franchise films well enough to rewatch them more than once, but I think that the RiffTraxes that are for 'solo' blockbusters (e.g. Inception) seem to generate more new and unique funny comments overall, and so they often stand up longer.  [An exception might be High School Musical: I'd love to see them tackle the 2nd and 3rd parts, as the first was so hilarious.]

But, be that as it may, Transformers 1 was a 5-star riffing [on a scale of 1-5, as that's all an iPod can keep track of], and Transformers 2 was a 4-star, so I'm not against that.  The Twilight films have managed to all be 5-star funny to me.  But the Potter RiffTraxes have all been 4-star riffings for me.  Good enough to rewatch a few times, but not quite squarely hitting my funny bone.  But that could change.

And I just realized I wrote "the the".

Even the makers of "The Attack of the The Eye Creatures" are ashamed.

Sounds like you're having some sort of slow emotion replay there, Bob.

Really? Highlander is one of the few films they've done that I can enjoy watching on its own and riffed.

Or did you mean just the 80's VOD riffs?

I've really liked all of the recently riffed bad 70's/80's movies, but Highlander was the one that I hadn't seen since the 80's that   had fond memories of (I think it was one of the first movies I saw when my family finally got a VCR), but after not seeing it for 20 plus years, I thought it was terrible even when riffed. I would like to see them riff Highlander too though- only saw 2 once and remember laughing hysterically at it then.
