I've mentioned before (and its in my sig), but I co-host a podcast called Geekza which broadcasts every Sunday night. This weekend's topics include 300, proper etiquette of an audience member at an opening weekend showing, and I'm sure we're gonna talk about which of the three Rifftrax performances we bought this week.

In any case, we're at http://www.geekza.com, please come check us out.

I just checked out your site and I must say you guys seem pretty cool (in that decidedly uncool way that we geeks value). I'll be downloading your podcast, but knowing me as well as I do, it may be a while before it actually gets listened to. But I intend to, and it's the thought that counts, right?

How come I can't subscribe to or download it?

Today was a lot of technical difficulties for Talkshoe, and we didn't really get to do the standard show. We ended up recording the show, without that much of an audience cause the chat server was down. In any case, we ended up recording a hell of a show talking a lot about our favorite midnight showings. Right now a partial version is online, we'll be uploading the full show later tonight.

Not really happy with Talkshoe tonight... but that's why we record locally as a backup (and it means higher quality audio).

So, technical problems of last weekend explained: GoDaddy got hit with a DOS attack and Talkshoe was caught in the crossfire.

In any case, if you're a fan of Star Wars, we'll be having the filmmaking duo of Ryan Wieber and Michael "Dorkman" Scott, makers of the hit fanfilm saber duel/effects demonstration/Youtube sensation "Ryan vs. Dorkman 2" on the show this weekend. Should be a lot of fun talking about doing effects for cheap and talking shop.

Show starts 7PM Eastern this Sunday.

Geekza interviews George Takei... Hilarity ensues.

What a lead-in for Mike on the show next week, eh?
