Doctor Who?

QuoteOkay this is an honest question is the reason why it translated that way that there is no word for no in Chinese so every time you want to say no in Chinese do you have to say something clunky like "do not want"?

Actually that is correct.  Mandarin has no word for yes and no.  They answer a question for example Have you eaten yet " Ni Chi le ma?"  pronounced Nee chur la ma?  They would answer that with either affirmative eaten=   chi  (chur) or negative eaten Bu chi (boo chur).  You take the verb and either make it yes (which you can do by simply repeating the verb) or adding bu for negative then the verb.  (you can kinda just say bu but thats casual)  so the verb for IS =shi (sure)  the closest to the actual no as in no i dont like the way things are or NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO would be negative IS  (bu shi)

Comaprison shots.  Han is now a sparkly vampire.

And more random crap in background!

Okay is there a level of stupid lower then stupid because I think this is too stupid to be stupid.  Why did that need to be "fixed" again?

Because Lucas saw Star Trek two years ago.

Nice. We get lens-flare Han.
Sounds like a send-away action figure, doesn't he?

Two good quips, nice work boys.

Of course, if George Lucas were to rework those, your sentences would go on for 15 lines, but the font would look great.

George Lucas learned how much fans loved Vaders "Noooooooooooooooooooo" line in Revenge of the Sith, and just knew they'd love the line being added to Return of the Jedi.  Seriously, I can't believe Lucas is doing anything but trolling the fanbase at this point.

I heard of a forum troll but is there such thing as a director troll?

I must say even though that I hate this change, at least the "NOOO" isn't as patently ridiculous as
the one from Revenge of the sith. It's actually slightly more subtle, if that makes any sense at all.

Okay so now he is doing something the first director who did it admits was a mistake, that odd.

Also what is shooting out of the top of R2 in that one shot?

If you really want out you could just not post in it.
I'm out in that sense.  The problem I'm referring to is the updates posting when I hit "Show new replies to your posts."

Oh well.  I guess I better just use willpower.

The way i figure it, if lucas lives long enough and keeps doing these "fixes" we will have a hip hop version of the opening credits.
