Doctor Who?

My mom got me this to help me kill the time until the doctor lets me go back to work.

GhostSeed

500 Days of Summer, In a Lonely Place.
Oh what a feeling when we're dancing on the ceiling.

GhostSeed

It completely won me over. I was skeptical at first (too much hype and a fear of it being too "hipster") but it is a well crafted film, and it hit me at just the right time in life.

Just got this from Amazon.com's used section. You see that tiny subtitle? It says "Quelle Affaire!". This is a Region 1 blu-ray with French subtitles which means... it's Canadian!  :o

Easily my favorite non-John Hughes 80s teen flick.  I'm such a sucker for the dreamy arthouse style.  The pic quality was rated high and it has some great special features (screen tests, commentary by the producer, director, and Tom Cruise).  An easy buy for only $7.   8)

Well, technically I didn't buy it.  I sorta won it... by choice.  It was that and "Glee" on Wii, held up as a joke to a burly guy.  He got something else entirely.  I half-jokingly said to my co-worker next to me, "I want Twilight" (and then in my head, finished with "...for RiffTrax!!!").  So my co-worker says, "I'll get it for you."  Less than two minutes later, he hands it over to me.  Later, I asked him if he was familiar with RiffTrax.  He said no, but he knew MST3k.  Didn't get a chance today, but I look forward to telling him all about it next time I see him.

Maybe, but it's the only movie where you can see Tim Curry jump out a window.. and be really
happy about it!

Starman!

The Citizen Kane set looks great!

Anyways, recent DVDs I bought:

I got the Criterion version of Benjamin Button on DVD a couple of weeks ago for $5 at Wal-Mart!! And I finally bought U2's PopMart video on DVD (I got the 2 disc version).

Yeah I have not gotten a chance to watch it yet(I am saving it for later tonight)but it is the most extras packed disc set I have ever owned.  I love the booklet and the posters.

Starman!

Sweet! I would like to get that set on DVD but I might get a Blu-Ray player soon (hopefully).

I just added another DVD to the collection (just bought off of Amazon)

I always thought the Kill Bill movies were really overrated.

Anyways, I just bought X-men: First class.
