Carolina Cinemas, Ashevile, North Carolina.  My third Live Rifftrax:  I've had a couple scheduling conflicts before, and sorta had one this time, but I'm plowing ahead regardless.  He'll have another birthday next year. (Guess whether I'm joking.  Go ahead.  Guess.)

Attending alone, but that doesn't really matter once things get rolling and the audience is into it.

Well, it's 5:45 EST, and I just checked with the Regal Cinema in East Brunswick, and they've only sold about 30% of their tickets. Also called Regal Union Square in NYC and the rather harried woman I spoke to said they weren't close to selling out.

So, do I rush and do the $12, hour-long (each way) train ride to see it in the city, or take a more leisurely chance with the smaller, local crowd?

I think I just answered my own question.

I may go. I'm in the Phoenix, AZ area. Deciding between:

-Cinemark Mesa
-AMC Desert Ridge Phoenix

I give up attempting meetups, very few Rifftrax fans out this way (and, judging by my last Rifftrax Live experience, Phoenix Rifftrax fans aren't the most welcoming bunch).

But seriously, Rifftrax is twice as funny when we watch it together. It's great to see a riffed movie or short for the first time together, so we can share our first impressions. Better to wait for the DVD than go by myself.

I got to go after all. Now my wife has to put up with me saying "Seize the Bone" and not having any idea what I'm talking about until the DVD comes out.
