I just feel like I have such an obscure hobby that only I and people on the internet enjoy. 

I've pretty much felt that way with all my interests.

Well it looks like I will not be going to Rifftrax live after all.  Sunday i was feeling a little sick,on monday night the sickness turned to pain,then to the worse pain I had ever felt in my life also I could not keep water down.  Well I went to the hospital around three in the morning and it turns out my appendix was inflamed and had to be removed.  They got it is time so I was about to leave the hospital this afternoon but the doctor said i can't go on any long car rides for about a week.  So look like I will be sitting this one out.  Here's hoping it comes to Blu ray soon.

Any one in the KC MO area going?  I will probably be at the ameristar theater just because it is close but would be willing to drive further if any other theaters have a big turn out we only get 20-30 people at ameristar.

Just an update- of the two, er, Jeresyites? New Jerseyians?  Eh, whatever. Of the two folks I know in Jersey, one blew me off and the other unfortunately didn't have any direct experience with any of the theaters showing the event. Sorry.

Me and a couple friends are hitting up the show in Cleveland -- the Valley View Cinemark to be specific. I think they sell beer at that theater, so hopefully we won't be the most obnoxious people there.

Getting ready to go tonight in Albuquerque with Tyrant. For some reason, these live shows always fall RIGHT around our anniversary (8 years, yesterday! Woo!) and the Rifftrax show always provides such a great way to just laugh together after a day of mushiness. :^)

The AMC in Rockaway, New Jersey with my wife, 15 year old son and a friend of his. We've seen all the live Rifftrax events there and it's usually a lively crowd.

These shows always happen right before we leave for vacation (tomorrow morning!) - it's a great way to relieve the "got to get my desk cleared" craziness that accompanies the previous few days.
