Why don't you just go by yourself?  I know that with marriage you consolidate things like residences, bank accounts, and last names, but does it leave people completely unable to do things on their own?

It's more that you no longer have to do things on your own.   

I can certainly appreciate that sentiment.  I took a weekend trip to New York City last month.  As I was enjoying the sights and the tastes (moreso the tastes, thanks to a list Wurwolf provided me), I had fun, but I also lamented that I had nobody to share this experience with.

Still, Mr. Eegah's sadness makes no sense.  He acts as though he no longer even has the option to go alone.

Regal Hollywood 24 in Atlanta. It's not the location I'd prefer (we have many options here in Metro ATL), but it's the one our friends can easily find.

Just an update- of the two, er, Jeresyites? New Jerseyians?  Eh, whatever. Of the two folks I know in Jersey, one blew me off and the other unfortunately didn't have any direct experience with any of the theaters showing the event. Sorry.

But seriously, Rifftrax is twice as funny when we watch it together. It's great to see a riffed movie or short for the first time together, so we can share our first impressions. Better to wait for the DVD than go by myself.

I hope so. I hate making people watch Rifftrax and MST3K if they don't know about it, and sometimes I feel like they pretend to like it to be friendly, so I don't ask people to go with me.

I just feel like I have such an obscure hobby that only I and people on the internet enjoy.
