I just got into this show.  I got the first season one disc at a time, from Netflix.  Because this was too slow, and because I am a dirty thief, I torrented seasons 2 and 3.  Because the torrent does not have subtitles and there's a lot of Spanish dialogue, I bought a legit copy of season 3 through Amazon video.  Watched the last episode of season 3 this morning.  Incredible show.  Every episode is another moral line in the sand that's just  few inches past the last one.  It never seems like the situation has gone that far because it's so gradual, but it's really crazy now.

I hope season 4 wraps it up.  I hate that I have to wait 2 and a half months for more!

By chance, Thrifty, have you seen this yet? Tell me this wouldn't be the greatest Saturday morning cartoon, ever?

July 17th can't come soon enough.

Between this and Futurama, this summer won't completely blow on the tube.

There's one thing I keep going over in my mind.  Jesse didn't want to kill Gail.  He was really upset at the prospect even up to the point of the act.  Walter found it distasteful, but not seemingly as much as Jesse.  That's why Walter volunteered to do it and Jesse only did it because Walter couldn't.

But what does Jesse gain by doing this?  Nothing.  Killing Gail was done so that Gus would need Walter to cook for him.  Gus may be furious at Walter, but is gonna keep him alive out of necessity.  He has no reason to care about Jesse.  So Jesse's on the run from Gus, and at the same time has to live with the burden of the murder on his conscience.

I had dreams about this.  Dreams!  That I was watching a TV show!  In my dream, the writers decided to forget that the whole conflict with Gus ever happened and the season opened up on some sort of lavish party Walt was throwing with his riches.
