Several LOL moments, but overall I thought it was pretty uneven. I'll have to watch it again. I think it might be that I found the last two VOD riffs to be significantly more hilarious in comparison, I assume due to the fact they were so much more target-rich. Anyway, an eight from me (really a 7.5)

Gonna hafta hold off on an official vote. As of right now, I'm hovering at an 8.  I chuckled from beginning to end with a handful of gut-busters and giggle-fits.  I don't know if anyone else would agree, but the thing I was impressed with the most was the delivery on a lot of the lines.  Even if the riff wasn't particularly stellar, a lot of the deliveries were pitch perfect.

Like D.B., I'm gonna hafta give it another watch some time (mainly cuz I was so busy that I had to start the darn thing till after midnight). Lookin forward to the rewatch tho.  ;D

Watchman

Give it an 8 after my first viewing. Thoroughly enjoyed it, amused from beginning to end. I know many disagree, but I enjoy jokes that also function as film criticism, and this Rifftrax was full of them. Including the issues of didactic score, action-scene geography, silly looking special effects, and especially the lazy screenwriting of superhero movie cliches & unidentified characters like Douche Cushion.

On a note of astonishingly trivial 90's movie trivia, I couldn't believe they referenced Black Dog, has anyone else seen that? If you haven't, you'll get the joke just by looking at the truck on the poster:

I can't believe anyone would go out of their way to remember this movie! Mike must really be a Swayze fan.

Yeah, I got the "Black Dog" references too which I found to be quite a rare, esoteric, movie for them to reference and cannot help put wonder if maybe it's somewhere down the pike for some Riffin' itself.

...this is bringing back memories... I recall seeing this at a discount theater on a double bill with Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas. Yes, Black Dog was paired with Fear & Loathing. What was the logic behind that?! "They're both road trip movies"?

Artie

#5
Gave it a 7, it was decent.

Btw, next time do even more references to the fact the Ian McKellen is gay.  I don't think people got it with only 20 or so references in the track. /end sarcasm/

I'll go with 8. About as good as the X2 riff. Like X2, it's not going to be a favorite, but it's definitely worthwhile.

I agree with Artie though. WAY too many gay jokes.

I loved it. Gave it a 10.  Although I think they should have put in at least one Juno reference (or did I miss it?!)
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

The threw in "honest to blog" when Bobby goes into Kitty's room.

There's also a reference to her hamburger phone.  I feel like there may be a couple more.

Oh yeah. Thanks for covering for my brain block, Stan. I'm fairly certain there are significant sections of it that just aren't there anymore.

By the way, I can't see her now without hearing the "My indie cred!!!" line.

Let me add another line: "Grover on dangerous mission!" - I chuckled at this the first time around but for some reason it was a hell of a lot funnier on second viewing, and I was rock-sober both times. Go figure.

Usually when I see her now I hear the "honest to blog" riff.

I give this riff a, generous 7.  It was humorous but as bad as this movie is I'm not sure there's a lot of material for them to work with.  Now, XO: Wolverine on the other hand....

Rainbow Dash

Given the absurdity of it, I was saddened they didn't riff the after credits scene.

Still a quality riff.

Yeah, what the hell was that all about? Granted, I know nothing of X-Men outside of these movies, and there are some crazy-ass magical powers at work, but that didn't make any sense at all. That, coupled with Magneto's little chess piece maneuver makes me think that they were trying to leave things open for a sequel. Was there ever a plan to make another non-prequel X-Men with Stewart and/or McKellen?

TTYT

The after-credits scene was the patient that was in the video Xavier asked the TV clicker kid to turn on in the beginning, where that doctor talked about the morality of transferring a mind into a vegetative person, or something like that. Basically, the after-credits scene suggested Xavier did that.

A solid 8. Would've liked less "Ian McKellen is gay" jokes, but some of those were pretty funny.
