How can they do that?

Doesn't the name belong to the Navy since they created and named the team?

Considering EA holds the trademark to "Medal of Honor," I'd say no.

I figured they were just using the name they didn't own the trade mark.

Does that mean that every time the Medal of Honor is given out the government has to pay money to EA?

I'm no copyright law expert, but I believe trademarks are context-based--IE, EA owns the use of the phrase "medal of honor" to describe a video game/movie/piece of entertainment, but the use of it to describe an actual medal isn't owned by anybody.

The same way if your last name is McDonald, you might be able to name your air condition repair company after yourself, but you can't name a restaurant after yourself.

Ok.  That makes it more clear.

I don't think this movie will be very exciting i mean we now know that he didn't put up much of a fight.
