I saw one once (ive forgotten the title) in which jackie samo and the third more skinny guy (hes in a lot of jackie picks) where they take on some coke dealers.  It was hilarious and had some amazing stunts.  I wish i had more info on it but ever since ive looking for it on dvd and just cant find it.

Was Jackie a lawyer? Did it have a fight on a boat? If so that was Dragons Forever.

yes when i think of what has happened to my poor jackie it makes me want to cry.  Its so sad to, because chow makes films so much better than a great deal of his hollywood counterparts but hollywoods ego is tremendous.

All Jackie Chan ever wanted was to be popular in America. The thing I hated the most about all the Jackie Chan films that were released here is that they cut out all the stuff that made Jackie the superstar he was in EVERY OTHER COUNTRY on the planet. The comedy. The comedy is what sets Jackie apart from everyone else. Warner Bros. still holds the rights to a lot of his Golden harvest films so hopefully we might get some good collector's sets.

No comedy in US releases? What about Both Rush Hours, Shanghai Knights, and Shanghai Noon?

jackie was IN them but they cant really be considered JACKIE films, he didnt direct or even direct the action.  Those were american production movies not his hongkong films that they butcher in editing.  A good comparison is one called project A.  I rented that one once in the american dub version.  It had amazing fight scenes and stunts, but on the whole a forgetable movie.  It was amazing though when i saw the hong kong version of the film (years later when i bought a bootleg version in chinatown san fran) how much they butchered and chopped and dubbed it into incoherence.  It still wasnt citizen kane or anything but it was in fact a coherent movie that was much better and funnier in the hong kong version.

or was your whole post sarcastic, my bad i was distracted by what is usually a big annoyance to me.

Yuen Biao was third star of that film. He puts out some great stuff himself. In the Batman and Robin movie when Chris McDoodle (or whatever his name is) is doing his laundry with martial arts moves that was lifted entirely from a 1981 Yuen Biao flick called Dreadnaught.  It is way cooler looking when he does it.

Those are U.S. movies as opposed to the U.S. releases of his Hong Kong flicks. I was just lamenting on the fact that when they released Rumble in the Bronx they cut a lot of the stuff that made him a superstar in every other country in the world. Thankfully with the internet and the ability for region free viewing the studios are releasing thing as they should be. Look at the cluster fuck that was the release of Shaolin Soccer. Try watching the dubbed and cut version compared to the full "international" version. It is a piece of shit. Even the dumbass test audiences which are made of joe six packs off the street tore the edited version apart in screenings so that Miramax (Miraxe) and Harvey Weinstien (Scissorhands) couldn't release it in theaters like they wanted to. They eventually did a limited arthouse run of the original unfucked version then put it out on DVD.

Not too much comedy in his starring movies. One of Sammo's first comedy/kung fu movies stars Biao and himself and is pretty good is Knockabout. Also the Jackie Chan flick Young Master has some good scenes with Biao as well.

I got a pretty goofy one with sammo, called Enter the fat dragon.  He plays a guy who is good at kung fu and who idolizes bruce lee.  Its kind of funny, with an interesting end where he has to fight three guys who seem to represent three different styles of kung MOVIEs

MrTorso

Enter the Fat Dragon is great. Magnificent Butcher and Encounters of the Spooky Kind are also really good Sammo flicks.

there are so many movies out there i want to watch lol i would go bankrupt just trying.

I definitely prefer Sammo to Jackie.  Prodigal Son is possibly the best Kung-Fu film I've seen.  Mr Vampire was good too.

Prodigal Son also stars Yuen Biao as well, and both of those films (and a lot of other Sammo films) also starred the late great Lam Ching Ying. One of my favorites as well.
