Ah, Mr. F.  How I love thee.

As well as those frigging candy beans.

As far as I'm concerned, if a movie features chicks with guns, it automatically makes it a masterpiece. :rimshot:

Anyone seen Cleopatra 2525? That was a show in the vein of Aeon Flux. It featured that beautiful black woman from Firefly.

BTW, when is this Rifftrax going to be released? Since I own a copy of Aeon Flux, I want to remake the DVD with an incorporated riff track. I have a method that generally works well. But I need a few hours to get it done in time for my gathering of friends tonight.

to bad everything she said afterwards dealt with disappointment and comparisons to her last conquest.

I don't know I just couldn't get into Aeon Flux, or Reign for that matter, the art was weird, and in most cases, the stories even weirder.......

macleod

Strangely enough, reign of fire has grown on me after seeing it with the riff a couple times...I think maybe the same will be true of Aeon flux before too long.

Uh, actually I was referring to the animated re-imaging of the life and times of Alexander The Great, titled 'Reign'.  It was produced by the folks that brought you 'Aeon Flux'

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0295765/ Okay, minor edit, over at IMDB, they're claiming that it was called 'Reign The Conquerer'...

macleod

Ah, well, I guess I learn about a new movie every day... ;D

Yeah, the one thing I do remember was this quasi-mystic cult of assassins who were followers of Pythagoras.  You know, the mathematician that came up with the theory about triangles?  Like I said weird beyond all reason..

macleod

Hmm...yeah, I definitely missed that memo

Ah yes, the same mathematician that all the Aliens in Battlefield Earth knew and based all their math upon (?!?!?!).   Yet they could not google "gold AND Fort Knox".

Pythagoras was more than just a mathematician.  He was a great thinker.  If I'm not mistaken, he's called the first philosopher. Even if I am mistaken on that point, he did a lot more than just triangles  :)  But he did have a cult so maybe he was the first scientologist too...hehe.
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?
