you have too much spare time.

Also, The Bourne Identity, Kill Bill Volume 1, Good Will Hunting, Goldeneye, Sin City, The Truman Show and Wayne's World 2 are all brilliant.

The Little Mermaid and the Lion King? Why don't you just tell us you hate Santa Claus?

ScottotD

It's an odd collection of week and/or obvious choices with some great movies thrown in.

My bottom 100:

1. Caché (GAAAAAAH)
2. Donnie Darko (Have I really been talking down to you all this time, or did I just BLOW YOUR MIND?)
3. The Bachelor (Weak target, but I saw it in a movie theater and I will always be bitter.)
4. xXx (XXXXTREEME! If Rob Liefield was a movie, it would be this.)
5. The Matrix: Revolutions (Reloaded had at least a few good scenes, and was mostly set in the Matrix. This movie made me want to hurt things.)
6. Blood Diamond (Just because it had good actors doesn't mean it wasn't a terrible movie. Hay guyz, let's take a twenty minute break from the plot so we can shoehorn in more irrelevant information about diamonds!)
7. Armageddon (Again, a weak target, but it's just not a 'worst movies' list without some Michael Bay.)
8. The Boondock Saints (I will admit this was well made, but both the underlying messages and the man who wrote it are infuriating enough to make me hate the movie)
9. The Grudge (What happens if you take J-Horror and remove any semblance of a plot?)
10. Forrest Gump (This one is partly anger about the Academy Awards, part anger over the pointlessly gimmick heavy plot set up to disguise the weakness of a character incapable of development, and part utter hatred for the movies implication that thinking for yourself gets you AIDS.)
11. Pay It Forward (I saw this half asleep on an airplane, but I'm pretty sure the incredibly transparent attempts to jerk my emotions around would only have annoyed me more if I had been paying more attention. Poor Kevin Spacey.)
12. Star Wars: Episode 1 (I think Mike's covered this better than I can, but honestly, I could have written a better script than that, and I don't really like Star Wars all that much. If Lucas does this for Indiana Jones 4,  the nerd rage will be audible from neighboring galaxies.)

Crap, I'm out. Listing movies hit on MST3k is too easy, I already feel bad for the number of Rifftrax ones I did. Honestly, I would have listed them all just based on the movie anyway, though I wouldn't have watched two of them.

Scott, just because I hate some movies doesn't mean you can't enjoy them. Also just because
they're obvious doesn't mean they don't belong on my 100 most hated list. This didn't really
take me much time, I just went to a list of movies I voted a 1 for over the past 9 years on
the IMDB so it only took a few minutes. BTW.... ZOD IS DEAD!

homerjayla

Nothing
Hard Candy

Just out of curiosity, what the hell WAS the underlying message???  it didnt really seem to have one that i saw.

Bob

I liked "The Boondock Saints".   It was such an odd film, I could not help myself.

I think the message was "Don't do bad things or Irish brothers are gonna mess you up".

I actually kind of liked the first Duece Bigalow... horrendously obvious and transparent as it was, I thought it kinda worked. Not that I thought it was good movie, but even if I had the time to really think about it... I don't think it would make my bottom 100.

Tyrant

   Mine don't reach 100, but:

1) Along Came Polly (Not one funny moment in the entire film)
2) Cat in the Hat (Good Lord....)
3) Crossroads (WHY??!!)
4) Mitchell (The love scene....*shudder*)
5) Troll 2 (thanks alot, MIKE  :grr:)
6) Any Disney film made in the last 20 years that did not involve PIXAR (and no. No one on this board will change my mind. Sorry.)
7) Double Dragon (why have I seen it 2 times now?)
8) Neverending Story 2 (it ruined my life)

There's probably others I'm not thinking of at the moment, but to think of them means I'd have to remember them for a second, and that's a few seconds of my life I'm not giving up.

wow the fact that you think beauty and the beast (the only animated to ever be nominated for best picture), the little mermaid AND the lion king are WORSE than double dragon and never ending story 2 is staggering.  Truly staggering.
