And i must say that I like it a lot! Totally like the books and definatly brought a smile to my face. Thanks for suggesting it to me everyone.

I'm glad that you liked it. It's pretty cheezy, but still a lot of fun. Zaphod's second head kills me everytime i see it... what a ridiculous effect! But i love the animation from the BBC series quite a bit more than the animation featured in the new film. Cool stuff~

Anyway, your next mission is to locate, and listen to, the original radio broadcasts~  ;D

You can't beat the original radio broadcast. I've listened to that thing several times through (thanks to my local library actually having the old tapes!) and always find myself laughing.

Oh, and the newer ones they did of the last three books in the series are also quite good. Done in the same style, and even have Adams in them (which shows you they are a few years old). They even have Simon Jones back as Arthur Dent! How cool is that?
"Pretty dang". That's how.

I've actually never heard those last few series. They're getting harder and harder to find these days. But i'll have to search out those later shows somewhere and check them out. I heard they were actually pretty good, but created some sort of continuity problems because they actually followed the books too closely. Go figure~

And ya' know, i'm not sure... But i think they took Douglas Adams voice from an audio book and spliced it into those later radio plays after he had already died. Spooky... an author speaks from beyond the grave~  :D

Even that one show Goodnees Gracious Me. Im not Indian in the least (at least as much as i know) but i still laugh.

This movie was silly, but after seeing it twice, it's such a well-conceived movie..

...bizarre...yes, but great
