I know this a bit of a longshot, more so than my other suggestions. But I believe the 1998 made for public television version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "musical"* CATS is doable for the following reasons...

*More like an opera on a sugar rush.

- The silly, SILLY costumes.

- There's not much of a plot since the majority of the songs are introductions for characters...

- Most of whom aren't seen again after their song is over.

- Half the time you can't understand a single word they're singing.

This is availble on DVD and shouldn't be too hard to find on Amazon or online rental.

Any other opinions?

Are you claiming that names like Rum Tum Tugger can be somehow questionable?

I'm all for Mike and the crew trashing an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical after seeing some of his other work.
