Suggestion.  I frequently read the dates backwards when put into mm/dd/yy format.  This one seems particularly troublesome.  Could you rephrase this in the longer format?

it's already in long format. we have to travel back in time to january 10th, 10. hang out with the romans and visigoths and such like.
