Wow, comic books finally won. I'm going to sit this one out, as I've never been really into comic books.

Well, I actually have a couple shelves of comics, but relatively few different series. There are definitely a few I love, but the rest of my list will just be stuff I don't dislike.

Actually, I love video games. I play a few but love watching people play them -- I could do that for hours.  I'm disappointed I missed out on the top video game characters.

Double ditto.  I just never got into comic books.  I already had so many other expensive hobbies like video games.  Oh well, guess I won't be participating this time.  Probably for the best. 

The only comic I can think of I really enjoyed and read multiple times was the first ten issues of a black and white War of the Worlds comic.  I always wanted to get the rest of it.

Well next month will be the Halloween LoC, so something should be good for you there.  I'm just curious what possibilities are left for Holiday lists (I'd go with top 50 Holidays)

Was it based on the book or the late 80's TV series loosely based on the book?

I don't think it was based on a TV show but it took place in modern day.  Hellweed played a big role as well as the gas which tends to get glossed over or ignored in other interpretations.
