Welcome, Wes!  Don't mind the crazies.  But then again, we're all mad here.   ;D

I know I said "X-Men" and "Fifth Element" were my first, but if we're counting the Legend Films Mike-solo dvds, I think the first one I saw was Plan 9.  I watched Reefer Madness soon afterward which meant that I had watched all the ones my Blockbuster carried.  I had to wait till RiffTrax for more.

It looks like the first official Rifftrax that I bought was for Star Trek V, but before that I had bought several of the Legend DVD's with Mike Nelson commentary's.  I'm not even sure how I found out about them at the time.  I thought (and still think) that the riff for Star Trek V was absolutely great.  I bought the riff for Top Gun when it came out, but didn't like that as much.  So I skipped a few until the one for The Matrix came out, and I got that one partially because I was happy enough to have any decent excuse to buy The Matrix (which I had never seen in its entirety before that).  I then eagerly bought the one for Star Wars Ep1 Phantom Menace on the day it was released, only to spend months before I found a copy of the movie that was cheap enough that I was willing to buy it.  I would have happily spent $12 for that riff, but didn't want to spend more than $1 on the movie itself!

After that point, I tended to buy most of the rifftrax releases.

The first one I saw at all: Battlefield Earth. Didn't finish it. Bill's voice not sounding like Crow really threw me off.

The one that actually got me into Rifftrax: Twilight

I later retried Battlefield Earth and it has since ended up being one of my favorites.

I was a fan of MST3K since season 2 or 3, but I was pretty late getting into Rifftrax.
