I don't know what happened to her. She has potential... She was great in The Professional. I'm confused as to why she allowed herself to perform so terribly in the Star Wars prequels. I'd have thought she would have enough discipline as an actor/artist to realize that her performance in the Star Wars prequels was atrocious! Horribly dead-pan and wooden. Was it Lucas who told her to stop trying so hard? Did Lucas ever say to himself, "Gee, this girl is supposed to be good. Why isn't she trying?"?? Or was Natalie telling herself, "What's going on here? I though Lucas was a legend?"

I'm confused.

I likes me the great big Natalie Portmans on-screen in my movies, and dagnabit she can too act. Hayden just created an acting vacuum in which her acting was sucked. Also don't forget that the Queen in the makeup was often not Natalie. :^)

I vote for the Star Wars prequels to be removed, rather than Natalie Portman.  I think she's a very good actress.
