QuoteDuring a stopover in Germany in the middle of a carefree road trip through Europe, two American girls find themselves alone at night when their car breaks down in the woods. Searching for help at a nearby villa, they are wooed into the clutches of a deranged retired surgeon who explains his mad scientific vision to his captives' utter horror. They are to be the subjects of his sick lifetime fantasy: to be the first to connect people, one to the next, and in doing so bring to life "the human centipede.

I saw the preview...it is definitely not something I really need to see, ever.  The trailer disturbed me for days, I can only imagine what the film itself would do to me.
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?

Bleck.  I have no objection to being grossed out if the movie is good, but the story doesn't look all that appealing.  Also, the preview seems to imply that they become the centipede.  It might be better if that was more of a horrific possibility.

Man, this will give crazed German men a bad rep......ohhh........

Looks like of "Cronenbergian"

Please don't make new topics if you have nothing to say.  What is the friggin' point?

And there are a few people on this board who are guilty of this.  They act like they are the AP news wire or something and post new topics without really adding anything to the conversation.

Hear here.

Little opinion won't kill ya, folks.

Moving along, I've very interested in seeing this one. I've heard a ton of good things, particularly about how it's explicit but not (that made sense in my head). I'm always in the market for strange indie horror flicks, and this looks to be a goodie.

Oops.  I forgot to comment on the subject at hand myself!

Movie sounds stupid.  Think I would skip it.

Eh.  Doesn't sound like there's a whole lot to it beyond being absolutely disgusting.  I could be wrong about that, but to be honest, I'd rather not find out.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

The (obvious and unstated) point is, "Here is an interesting movie that some of you might like and I doubt that many of you have heard of it, let me post this here so you can read about and decide if you want to find out more about it, see the youtube trailer, add it to your Netflix queue, etc.".

I have a huge phobia if finding myself unable to breathe. This movie's existence has given me a new phobia of only being able to breathe through someone's butthole.

Just dont have your car break down while driving in Germany at night, in a storm.   Or, make sure your AAA card works in Germany.

There are worse things than breathing from there, eating for example.

From Wiki

They also claim it should be available as a video on demand from IFC today. Doesn't seem to be true though. Odd, huh?
