RVR II

Well, since it looks like there is no game scheduled, we seem to be right on par for 1 RiffTrax per month this year.. :o

Still more regular than Cinematic Titanic releases.

Wait, am I allowed to say that?!

...2 shorts a week, on average, for most of Feb and March counts nothing for this eh?
Any issues with the RiffTrax main page should be directed to support@rifftrax.com Attempts to engage with me directly about such matters will result in ridicule.

I said RIFFTRAX!

Not RiffTrax Shorts (which I have bought ALL of by the way), not RiffTrax Presents, etc.

I'm not complaining, just an observation 8)

I still don't get the Cameron haters, he made a typical summer blockbuster, a mindless fun ride, it's not like he's the only one doing that.

Oh I don't hate him.  He's just been very public with his statements about what he feels about people who know that "global warming" is a crock of shite.  He publically states that such people are poopyheads, I refuse to patronize his business.  All's fair.

I still like Aliens.

I don't get how people can think this was a political movie in any way.  The movie was a psychological thriller, possibly one of the best ever made because it is so subtle in it's delivery.

You have Jake, someone who has suffered from a crippling injury.  Already traumatized by this, his only family member dies.  His mind totally breaks down and creates this fantasy world where he slowly drives out all semblance of his sanity (portrayed by the humans and specifically Quaritch).  He imagines a world where he is healthy and can do anything.

Seriously.  Blue cat people?  Floating mountains?  you took that seriously?

That's pretty good, Avatar 1 was all a dream he had while in hibernation during his long space trip, in Avatar 2 he wakes up and the planet he's going to is a POS and the aliens are like the bugs from Starship Troopers.  ;D

Went to Target after lunch, only 2 BD/DVD sets left on the shelf, probably 10 DVDs left, now we'll have to hear about how the disc sales are through the roof.

BD/DVD was $20 vs. $16 for DVD only, so it's a no brainer to get the combo even though I'm only really getting it now for the rifftrax, if there wasn't a rifftrax I'd have waited for the November or next years 3D release, now I'll skip those.
