This is such a little thing, but to me it's one of those little things that sticks with ya and makes you smile... My wife and I frequently fall asleep in bed with the TV on, sometimes with an old MST3K... she closes her eyes and rolls over and I think she's sleeping, then a particularly obscure riff will be made and she starts giggling...

I love moments like that...

You mean your wife sleeps in the same bed as you?!?!?!

you don't have two single beds that are in the same room but separated?

LOL, yeah we have a king size bed so it's still workable... we are usually joined by the two dogs as well...

Same thing happened to me last week.  I was watching Final Sacrifice at about 2:00am and it got to Servos part in the Canada Song and my fiance started laughing.  I had to turn it off because she had to work at 7 the next morning.  I turned it back on about 20 minutes later.

I thought I was the only one who fell asleep every night to MST3K. Maybe we should start a support group or something.

Actually, I do the same thing, too! I watch about 20-30 minutes of an episode before nodding off.  I think it's the only way I can get through certain films.

I kept nodding off during Escape 2000 over the last few nights.

That MST episode contains one of my favorite riffs: "Workin' on a sex farm!"
