It's ridiculous, but I enjoyed Cube.  This looks interesting.  I'm sort of hoping that it's a bit more than an evil monster movie, and I do get that impression a bit from the trailer.  I don't know if it will be good but it seems interesting.

That trailer screams "this isn't really a horror film but we're advertising it as such anyway." Which only makes me more interested then I would normally be.

I hope that's the case.  I think it's a thriller, but it will be more interested in the consequences of the creation of the creature that is not evil... but is dangerous and will fight adn kill to live.  Sort of like a genetic version of HAL.

I can't get past the extraneous leg/foot joints.

What if she were wearing tight tweed slacks?  ;)

Well, delightful as those tend to be*, she still has a couple too many joints below the knee, and you know, a knee that faces the wrong way given the feet.

*And they are! They are!

I agree that the double knees are off-putting, but what if I threw in wavy red hair and freckles?

I'm thinking, with that colouration, she's need wavy raven locks rather than red.

Same actress?

If so, yes I like to think I'm an adept, if amateur judge of a pretty girl's complexion and what matches it. ;)

Yup, French actress Delphine Chaneac.

Personally, it's hard for me to imagine a lovely lady who wouldn't benefit from red hair. It must be some Viking genes or something.

Oh no I love red hair as well but sometimes it just doesn't go with the complexion or the other colouration.

And sometimes the girl refuses to try red hair even though she'd look great with it and hell she dyes her hair all the time as it is and why can't she just give it a go,she can wash it out if she really doesn't like it which would be odd since she naturally has red undertones as it is.

...

I'm sorry, where were we?

I know where you're coming from. (I'll get her to try it sooner or later...)

Something interesting I've noticed while we're on the subject: I tend not to find many African American women paticularly attractive for reasons I've never really given much thought to because I'm afraid of the implications, but there was a fad around here a few years ago of black girls dying their hair bright almost magenta red and damned if didn't change my perceptions.
