Crap!  I ordered the Star Trek VI 2-disc DVD through Amazon as soon as the RiffTrax folks announced it.  I got it today and the discs inside the Star Trek VI case were for Star Trek Nemesis!  I was hoping the DVD was just mislabeled, but I played it, and sure enough, Nemesis came on.  Now I'm pissed because I was ready to watch it after a while of waiting for the movie and it turns out to be the wrong DVDs in the case!  This is so typical!  >:(

Anyone else had this problem?
By the way, I was being sarcastic.

Hang on to it... I'm sure Nemesis' time will come, lol

I'm sure, too, but why wait for that one?

<tantrum>
I want STAR TREK VI NOW!!!
</tantrum>

Besides, I've seen Nemesis at every store I've been to when I was looking around.  No Star Trek VI anywhere but online, it seems like.  Now I gotta return the DVD to Amazon.  Sigh!
By the way, I was being sarcastic.

Strange.  Was it a used dvd?  I have a hard time understanding how that could happen.

Has anyone tried listening to a Rifftrax for the wrong film, just to see if any of the jokes still make sense?

No, that's the thing.  Brand new from Amazon.  I guess some by some fluke, two Nemesis DVDs got into the Star Trek VI case at the packaging factory.  That's the only explanation I can think of.

That's a good idea!  We could totally find this generation's version of the Dark Side Of The Moon/Wizard Of Oz sync.

I did that and it worked. I played The Matrix Riff while watching Johnny Mnumonic(sp). Even the woah's were synced up. ((in case your sarcasm sequencer is on the fritz, I'm just kidding) Kevin could make me laugh reading Mein Kampf.

Ever listen to a rifftrax by itself with no movie at all?

I haven't... but it might be funny/weird.

I do on my iPod while waiting at the airport.   I get some strange looks when I start snickering to myself.

I've heard of a bunch of people who do on these boards.  Though I myself do not.

I've done it before at work, though only with films and rifftrax I've seen previously.  It works if you can picture the movie strongly enough (i.e. not paying attention to working, at all!).

This happened to me a couple weeks ago.  I bought a bag of Jalepeno Krunchers potato chips, but the chips inside the bag were plain.  PLAIN!  No spicy goodness at all.  But since I'm waaaay too lazy to actually go through the effort of exchanging a bag of chips, I just ate 'em anyways.

You know, it would be beyond easy to put the combined movie + RiffTrax audio on your iPod...

I had a Kit Kat with NO wafer in whatsoever, once.
