I've never had a crappy job. I had a crappy paying job once but it was so much fun it didn't seem like work and I actually quit my high paying job to do it so, I don't think it would count.

Maybe I need to drop out of school and apply at the local Fridays.  Do I get to learn flair bar tending? COOL...although, the most flair I've seen at the local Fridays is them putting salt on a rim.  I wonder if Mike knows how to toss a glass around.

In that same vein, they were having try outs for Coyote Ugly gals (it's a real bar) not too long ago in Memphis and I almost went but I'm far from sexy.  I'd fall off the bar and impale myself with a stiletto.  I was just strangely captivated by that reality show and kept saying, "I could so do that!" In the movie, it was a blast.

yeah they got those coyote uglys all over the place.  Never been to one, heard they were crowded as hell and take forever to get drinks at.

then its not a coyote ugly, they dont have enough room for tables to serve things like steak.

Now now, we don't need to punctuate the discussion of bad jobs with equally bad movies now do we?

I dunno guys, I had the J.D. Spicy Chicken the other night, and it was fantastic. Next time I might have the Kung Pow chicken. Not sure yet.

Although having worked in the food biz I can attest to Mike's loathing of the place. Food industry is probably the worst, most stressful one to work in. Having said that, I feel everyone should be forced to wash dishes for a year in a restaurant, right when they reach 16 or whatever the minimum legal working age is, just to learn about real hard work.

Either that or pump gas at a full serve gas station for a year in a city that has a harsh winter climate. Its SO much fun pumping gas in -35 degree (celsius). And isn't it funny how everyone goes to the full serve when its cold.

My first job was at a crappy discount clothing store called Rugged Wearhouse...it literally made Wal-Market look like Saks....

You've never lived till you've had to get yelled at by customers over a $1 shirt

Though that's still better than the food industry...

For once, I'm actually sort of on topic. One of the main requirements to apply at a Coyote Ugly (and yes, I did look) is experience with flair bartending, much like at TGIFridays in Cocktail (and supposedly at real TGIFridays).  Although, I'm pretty sure that can be overlooked if an applicant possesses certain other qualities.  If you think about it, "Coyote Ugly" is "Cocktail" with naked chicks instead of Tom Cruise...which does make it an equally bad movie so you have a point too!

you are wrong amanda, they never get naked.  just less dress than any modest girl would be.  lol

AmandaGal

That is true.  I guess not any less than one would wear to the pool!

I dont know how that changes your opinion on the movie but for my gender the less clothes those types where do help its "quality" mildly.

Yeah, also, if you watch that movie, or anything else like it (say, Tomb Raider) with the mute button on, it really makes for a great time

I get to look at naked girly parts at least two times a day.  So, those types of movie don't have much of an affect on me  ;)

Wow, I'm speechless...

I don't even have a witty comeback at the moment...I can only say, congratulations?
