People who like Rachel Ray never say it's because she is a respectable chef.  It's because she encourages ever day people to cook instead of going to out to buy fast foods or because she's had no training and still cooks, etc.

I think she's more easily related to than someone like Giada.

I like Rachael's "40 Dollars a Day" show. Haven't seen Giada much -- mostly on that "Iron Chef" episode. Giada's very pretty, but her smile scares me. Really. She looks like  when she smiles, only more so.
