I keep trying to pots my avatar pic in the photos section, but it keeps telling me to put my pin on the map. The only problem is that I've already signed up and put my pin on the map... 

yes... it is a beta site....  you might try just re-registering

Just wait a while. It took some time before it posted my image on the page. I had already signed up for Frappr for a different map, and it still didn't show my image immediately.

I went ahead and created a Frappr map for us.  What's Frappr?  It's a neat website where you can set up a virtual map board with pins so folks can get an idea of where everyone is from (just like those truckstop bathrooms!)
