It's very possible--perhaps even likely--that the account is fake. However I would imagine a fake account would be more obvious, relying more heavily on quotes from the movie and such.

Basically, I doubt someone running a fake account would say "Hello" instead of "Oh hi".

It occurs to me....what if this is all a hoax?  I mean, "Tommy Wisseau", is a hoax.  What if he's a 5th generation American from Kennybunkport or Sheboygan?  We don't know much about him, maybe this is why....what if this is a character and he's just doing this for the money?
