Kinda makes me wonder if they'd ever consider/have considered riffing The Blair Witch Project?

If I have a heart attack and die due to all the terror I'll undoubtedly feel while watching this movie, I'm coming back and haunting Bill.

ShadowDog

Aw crap.  Yet another movie I swore I'd never watch that I'm now forced to watch by Rifftrax.  Rifftrax is fast becoming that annoying but super hawt girlfriend who will only give out the goods if you watch incredibly horrible movies with her.  Dammit!
"Did she just say Chipping?"

I'm pretty sure you have to sign a waiver before watching it.  No lawsuits for you!

"The Screaming Skull is a motion picture that reaches its climax in shocking horror. Its impact is so terrifying that it may have an unforeseen effect. It may kill you! Therefore, the producers feel it necessary to provide free burial services to anyone who dies of fright, while seeing The Screaming Skull!"
VIVA IL ESORDIO DEL DIABETE ADULTO DUCE!!!

Wow... missed this entire thing (including knowing it was at 11) because I was working.  That's a first.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

It's a first that you were working?  :rimshot:

I'd actually argue that PA was ten times the horror movie that most new movies in that genre claim to be.

Which is pretty sad, when you think about it.

I think your signature picture is a little out of date.

It really is, most directors don't seem to understand how horror works these days. I can't feel tension or anything resembling fear when I don't know or care about the characters. PA was flawed, but I still found it to be effective and it kept me interested, I just made sure not to go in expecting the scariest movie ever made.

That said, I'm looking forward to what they do during the sleeping scenes, that's probably the most easily riffable part of the movie.

And my personal interest in this drops about 50 billion percent. I've never been that into horror movies.

Well you're lucky because it barely qualifies as "Horror", let alone "movie"

That perks me up.  I hope it's not another one with a cliched "twist" ending like Drag Me to Hell.

It is, isn't it. I guess I'll have to find another movie to champion. Maybe Braveheart.... or Cannibal Holocaust.

Drag Me To Hell didn't really have a twist ending per se. The ending's in the damn title.
