Unfortunately, I have to agree with you there.  They may look at the lists, but they're probably not gonna let the opinions of 24 people decide what Rifftrax they produce.

It is still fun to make the wish lists and hope they might someday come true.

Sure, but the attitude of the guy I was responding to was like "well you guys WASTED your votes on movies they're going to do anyway!!!"

well ya i dont think they are gonna really affect anything but since it is a wish list i can wish it would affect something right(and connor asking if claw was in PD did get me a bit excited)?  not saying it was a waste just think its kinda fun to think of wacky ones like showgirls that will probably never be done no matter how many people demand it cause its interesting to even consider the possibility, or uncovering that film that may have slipped by many peoples radars as a great film to riff.

the plus for everyone who voted for harry potter is you will probably not have to live in a world of unfulfilled hopes and dreams like i do :)

Well...  yes and no.  ;)   80% of what I voted for didn't even make the list where my votes counted, much less being on their radar.  :D

I suspect that - overall - Conor's presence here suggests that they might be 'made aware' of some of the winners here, even if Mike Kevin and Bill don't look at the list themselves.  Potentially this list might just 'remind' them that certain riffable films are out there and bring them a little further up their list of 'films to riff', simply because the awareness of them would be fresher in their minds than other films might be.  But I doubt they'd drop what they are doing to go out and riff something that was suggested if they hadn't already been thinking in that direction (more's the pity).

But then again... Mike, Kevin and Bill may read    every    word    we    type    here and secretly be keeping track of every thought each of us expresses, with detailed files on our likes and dislikes... waiting for just the right moment to strike.

Once again, if they did The Room, they have no excuse not to do any film.

I'm still not sure how this "picking the next list" thing works, so I'm just going to bow out from here and let you guys take over again. It's been fun!

You would need to take the submissions that people PMed to you and put them in a poll, so people could vote on what the next LoC would be.

But if you don't want to do it, I will...
I know you are but what am I

If The Room is any indication of how they handle nudity and sex, then Showgirls would be the Disembaudio and Friends Hour.

8. Alone in the Dark
9. Billy Jack
10. Cobra
11. Hard to Kill (1990)
12. Super Mario Bros.

That is a fragrant list! And two scoops of Uwe Boll. They have to do one his movies eventually, don't they?!? IT IS RIFF LAW!!!

Bugger! I just knew I was going to get one that they'd done already. Well, mea culpa.
