Just finished one trilogy...maybe it's finishing the other...?

:)

I'd be happy with that.

I'd also be happy with the continuation of...what would you call it? A septilogy?

Although, I've got a recent blockbuster vibe on this one.

It's probably silly of me to wish that they're riffing This Is It.  But wish it I do.

I'm praying for ROTK or Dune.  While there are many other good choices, I consider them "distant seconds" on my list.

But I'm always happy when there's a new Rifftrax.

Only so that when it fades to the credits one them can ask "This is it?"

It's gonna be Communion, the alien movie with Christopher Walken, because I put a voodoo spell on Mike Nelson.

Mike was talking about it at lunch the other day. He was kind of baffled by it, but the way he described it, made it seem like it was already a comedy.

Nope. McDonald was on the song, but it's not his.

Quote"This Is It" is a song by Kenny Loggins, from his 1979 album Keep the Fire. It reached number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100 and number seventeen on the Adult Contemporary chart. "This Is It" was also successful on the soul chart reaching number nineteen.[1]

The song features additional vocals by Michael McDonald, who co-wrote the song with Loggins.

At one point in the song's evolution, its melody was underway, but the lyrics were incomplete. Loggins moved it forward after a visit to his ailing father, who had undergone a series of surgeries for vascular problems stemming from small strokes and was discouraged at the prospect of another. His perspective on the lyrics then changed: "'I've got it,' I announced to Michael, it's not a love song. It's a life song."[2] The song won a Grammy in 1980 for best male pop vocal performance.

Damn it. Now I have Kenny Loggins songs stuck in my head.
